Heritage Visionary|culture connects people
I am a researcher in cultural heritage affiliated with Fudan University (Shanghai) and Leiden University (the Netherlands). However, my curiosity has driven me to explore opportunities beyond academia.
Trained in the interdisciplinary field of architectural anthropology, I am deeply fascinated by mountainous villages and river cities worldwide, where people maintain dynamic interactions with their living environments. My research focuses on these cultural heritage sites, which reflect the enduring wisdom of local communities.
At the same time, I firmly believe that cultural heritage is not merely an academic subject but a powerful force for connecting people and fostering a better society. I enjoy sharing my research findings through public lectures, exhibition curation, and in-situ workshops. I am dedicated to a people-centered approach to heritage-related practices, empowering local communities in cultural industries in this new era of "Heritage Craze."
I created this website to share my thoughts and reflections on the often ignored or taken-for-granted stories of daily life across cultures. I invite you—regardless of your cultural, social, or professional background—to join me in exploring diverse perspectives on cultural heritage.
