Walking is an embodied way to understand places and cultures. It allows us to observe the environment, sense the atmosphere, engage with daily life, and connect with local communities.
In this context, I share my experiences of walking in various cities and countries, telling stories of these spaces while drawing on my training in architectural history and anthropology. I also offer methods to cultivate observation skills while on the road.
You are invited to join me on these fabulous journeys and explore the world together.
Museum visits are considered civilizing rituals, as noted by Carol Duncan, a renowned scholar in museum studies.
In the past, only elites had the opportunity to appreciate artworks in museums. Today, however, museums have become integral to the public infrastructure of civic society. Cultural democracy emerges through equal participation and reflective discussions.
This is the platform where I share my thoughts and inspirations from museum visits.
Cultural heritage can serve as a powerful educational tool. Its application extends beyond classroom lectures for school and university students to encompass diverse practices with significant societal impact.
I teach heritage courses at the university level, organize workshops at heritage sites, and curate public exhibitions. Open access to heritage-related educational activities forms the foundation of a more inclusive and democratic society, where people from different generations, social strata, and cultural backgrounds can engage with and learn from one another.
